Accountability: All Liquidation World associates are responsible for maintaining and protecting all Personal Information under their control. We will not sell, exchange, loan, or make available to other companies any personal information that you have provided to us (except for 3rd party financing with customer approval).
Identifying Purpose: Liquidation World will gather only the minimum personal information necessary to provide you with fast, reliable service if you decide to purchase from us and for certain marketing purposes i.e. to inform of upcoming liquidation events or the arrival of certain products of interest to you, the customer.

Consent:

Certain personal information may be requested related to certain sales transactions, i.e. credit or debit card, furniture, returns, credits, coupons, participatory contest awards, etc. We accept this as implied consent. We will obtain consent from anyone from whom we request personal information for certain marketing purposes i.e.: to inform of upcoming liquidation events or the arrival of certain products of interest to you, the customer.

Limiting Collection:

Liquidation World will gather only the minimum personal information necessary to provide you with fast, reliable service if you decide to purchase from us and only the information necessary to provide you with certain event information.

Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention: We will not use your personal information for any purpose other than those outlined above, unless we have asked your permission and received your consent. Original transactional information will be destroyed in accordance with the law, which requires archiving for up to seven years. Archived transactional information is not accessed or used for operational or marketing purposes. The customer can at any time withdraw consent to receive the marketing information referred to above. We will then remove the customer's name from any mailing or email lists as quickly as possible. Marketing information will be maintained indefinitely subject to customer requests that their personal information be removed and deleted from any list we may have.

 Accuracy:

We will keep personal information we collect as accurate, complete and up-to-date as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected.

Safeguards:

All information held by us is subject to strict internal security to prevent unauthorized access and improper usage. Electronic records are subject to limited access by authorized personnel who must use passwords and other security measures. Print records of personal information are subject to physical protection such as locked rooms or cabinets, accessible only to authorized personnel.

Openness:

Information about our policies and practices relating to management of personal information will be made readily available to you.

Access:

We do not keep specific files on any customer other than those gathered with consent for marketing purposes. The nature of our routine records relate directly to the specific transaction entered into. For financed transactions a third party is in control of all personal information offered for financing purposes.
